Willow is cracking the eggs

Sadly Willow has cracked two eggs thus far. I'm not sure why this happens but hopefully he stops this behavior soon.

I went to a local birdmart looking for a pair of English budgie. I came home with three birds. Athena is my normal cobalt English female. Zeus is a spangle cobalt chick. Kingsley is a bright normal violet American male. Here are some photos.

Time to start the feeding

I start hand feeding the babies when they open their eyes. This is about the same time you start seeing their colors. I wait this long to start feeding the babies because this is also the time they have all of their baby down. This allows me to take them from their parents with out worrying about lowering their body temp to much. They are also big enough to eat from the feeding syringe. After I feed the babies I place them back with their parents. This will go on until they are weaned. After ...
