The two clutches are doing great. Dusty and Bells chicks are starting to eat seeds on their own. The three oldest chicks can get in and out on the next box on their own but the last still needs help getting back in. They are all feathered with just a few tufts of chick fluff under their wings. I would say in about three weeks they will be ready to go home. There are three normal blue violets with a white dot on their heads and one normal grey violet yellow face type two.

Zeus and Violets chicks are also doing great. I have started to hand feed them this week. Their eyes are all open and they are very alert for their age. The oldest chick is an albino and the younger three look like dominant pied spangles but I will know for sure when they get a little older.
